Seoul COVID-19 Cases: 50 of 74 Confirmed Linked to Church (Update)
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Min-young] Among the 74 new confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) reported in Seoul the previous day, 50 were related to church infections.
Seoul City announced on the 15th at midnight that 74 new confirmed cases were recorded the previous day.
By infection route, 26 cases were related to Seongbuk-gu Sarang Jeil Church, 23 cases to Yongin City Woori Jeil Church, and 1 case to Goyang City Banseok Church (Kennedy Shopping Center), totaling 50 new infections related to churches.
Additionally, there was 1 case from a Lotteria employee gathering and 2 cases imported from overseas. Cases classified as 'Others' numbered 10, 9 cases are under investigation for their infection route, and 2 cases involved contact with confirmed patients from other cities or provinces.
