[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] A current prosecutor was arrested by the police for hitting a taxi driver's face and biting his shoulder while intoxicated.
Seocho Police Station in Seoul announced on the 14th that they have booked Lee Mo (36) on charges of assault. Lee is confirmed to be a prosecutor assigned from the Bucheon branch of the Incheon District Prosecutors' Office, currently on secondment at the Supreme Prosecutors' Office.
Lee is accused of hitting the face and biting the shoulder of taxi driver A (60) after A tried to stop him from opening the door of a taxi he was driving near the Seocho Interchange around 12:40 a.m. that day.
