Korea Expressway Corporation Donates 200 Million Won to Help Flood Victims
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Jiwon] Korea Expressway Corporation announced on the 13th that it has decided to donate 200 million won in donations raised from employees' salaries to help flood victims affected by the recent heavy rains.
An official from the corporation said, "We hope this will provide some comfort and help to the flood victims who suffered from the sudden disaster," and added, "We pray that the damage will be quickly restored so that they can return to their daily lives."
The 200 million won donation was raised by collecting employees' salaries. The corporation donated the funds to the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association.

Last year, the corporation also donated 120 million won to support the recovery from wildfires in Gangwon Province, and earlier this year, it donated 100 million won to help citizens struggling due to the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
