[Asia Economy Reporter Seulgina Jo] The Ministry of Science and ICT announced that it has selected two outstanding cases of Data (D), Network (N), and Artificial Intelligence (A) for July, including Korea Livestock Data and Eidas One.
The outstanding DNA cases for July were selected mainly from companies that have commercialized creative products and services by integrating DNA technologies based on innovative ideas, improving daily life for the public, and enhancing safety and convenience.
Korea Livestock Data received recognition for supporting systematic farm management in the livestock industry, which suffers from labor shortages, by analyzing individual livestock activity and movement through AI using CCTV footage installed at livestock farms to predict diseases in advance and optimize livestock management. Through the use of this system, antibiotic usage was reduced by up to 80% compared to before, and mortality rates were lowered by up to one-third.
Eidas One developed an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) that can automatically monitor speed limits and abnormal driving when entering child protection zones, contributing to the reduction of traffic accidents and protection of lives by preventing careless and false start accidents.
