On the 13th, Kyobo Life Insurance employees are having an idea meeting to participate in the 'Unicorn Project' at the Kyobo Life Insurance headquarters in Gwanghwamun, Seoul.

Kyobo Life Insurance announced on the 13th that it will promote the 'Unicorn Project' to discover employees' ideas and accelerate digital innovation.
'Kyobo Life Insurance Unicorn' is a company-wide project combining the words Union and Contest, designed to discover good ideas that could become real unicorns (startups with a corporate value exceeding 1 trillion KRW).
Employees are encouraged to freely form small agile teams to propose business process innovation plans or new business model ideas. Among these, excellent ideas will be verified and commercialized.
Ideas will be collected through an internal contest until mid-month, and internal and external experts will gather to select outstanding ideas from the Unicorn submissions. Then, the ideas will go through a process of realization by the end of the year.
Through this demonstration process, the best ideas selected will be launched as actual services or commercialized. Employees who submit ideas will also have the opportunity to train in Silicon Valley, the forefront of advanced industries. To select more fresh and new ideas, new employees will also participate as part of the evaluation committee to reflect the perspectives of the millennial generation.
The core of the Kyobo Life Insurance Unicorn Project lies in the voluntary participation of employees. The company supports the development of employees' digital capabilities, and based on this, employees repeatedly attempt new initiatives to achieve digital innovation.
To this end, the company has established the 'Eureka Day' system to support employees' capability development. On designated days, employees engage in idea development activities, such as visiting startup hubs or attending digital-related lectures.
Additionally, a permanent idea proposal page has been newly created so that anyone can easily share brilliant ideas whenever they come up.
