Development of Insurance Products and Marketing Partnerships for Beam Shared Electric Scooter Users
On the afternoon of the 10th, KB Insurance signed a business partnership agreement (MOU) with Beam Mobility Korea, the operator of the shared electric scooter mobile platform "Beam," at the KB Insurance headquarters building located in Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. The ceremony was attended by Park Kyung-hee, Executive Vice President of Management (right), and Allen Zhang, CEO of Beam Mobility Korea (left), among others, to create a safe shared scooter usage environment.

The signing ceremony, held at the KB Insurance headquarters building in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, was attended by Park Kyung-hee, Executive Vice President of KB Insurance, Alan Zhang, CEO of Beam Mobility Korea, and other related executives. The main contents of the agreement signed that day include the development of insurance products for the safe use of electric scooters by Beam users and various marketing partnerships for mutual growth of both companies.
Through this business agreement, KB Insurance plans to develop insurance products that cover bodily injury accidents caused by operational negligence of Beam Mobility Korea or negligence of shared electric scooter users (riders), as well as medical expenses for the users themselves. In addition, through various advertising and events marketing partnerships, the companies aim to create synergy and also plan to promote partnerships with affiliates of KB Financial Group.
