Korea Forest Service Establishes and Temporarily Operates 'COVID-19 Emergency Response Team'
[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] The Korea Forest Service has established a 'COVID-19 Emergency Response Team' to operate temporarily.
According to the Korea Forest Service on the 10th, the Emergency Response Team is a temporary organization directly under the Commissioner of the Korea Forest Service, established to quickly respond to urgent issues that may arise due to the impact of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
The Emergency Response Team will lead responses to COVID-19 related quarantine measures conducted in forest areas, support income stabilization and damage assistance for forestry workers, discover new projects in the forest sector of the Korean New Deal, implement the K-Forest promotion plan, and explore new non-face-to-face businesses and new job projects in the post-COVID-19 era.
