View original image[Asia Economy (Nonsan) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] In Nonsan, Chungnam, a man in his 30s who recently arrived from overseas tested positive for the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
According to Chungnam Province on the 10th, Mr. A (Chungnam #194, Nonsan #90), who arrived from Kazakhstan on the 27th of last month and was under self-quarantine, tested positive for COVID-19 and was admitted to Cheonan Medical Center.
Mr. A received a negative test result (PCR negative certificate issued) on the day of arrival and moved to Nonsan for self-quarantine. However, a retest on the 9th showed a positive result. This was 13 days after his arrival.
The province and quarantine authorities are currently conducting additional epidemiological investigations on Mr. A. However, since he tested positive during self-quarantine, no contacts have been identified.
