[Concall] KT "Synergy with Netflix... Future Plans to Review Pricing Plans"
[Asia Economy Reporter Seulgina Jo] KT stated during the Q2 earnings conference call on the 7th afternoon that "through a partnership with Netflix, the content capabilities of Olleh TV are being strengthened, the subscriber base is expanding, and a virtuous cycle of growth in the media platform market is expected," adding, "We are considering creating synergies with Netflix not only in IPTV but also in various areas such as wireless."
They also added, "Currently, it is being offered as an additional service, and the pricing plan will be reviewed in the future."

KT recorded consolidated sales of KRW 5.8765 trillion and an operating profit of KRW 341.8 billion under Korean International Financial Reporting Standards (K-IFRS) for Q2. While sales decreased by 3.6% compared to the same period last year, operating profit increased by 18.6%.
