Gwangju Seo-gu 'Haengbok 1 Beonga Online Platform' Naming Contest

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Seo-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (Mayor Seo Daeseok) announced on the 6th that it is holding a contest to name the ‘Seo-gu Residents’ Happiness No.1 Online Platform’ to promote resident participation until the 12th.
The Seo-gu Residents’ Happiness No.1 Online Platform is an online interactive communication system that collects various resident opinions and is scheduled to be completed in October.
The online platform consists of functions such as proposals and discussions, surveys and voting, communication with the mayor, contest participation, and resident participatory budgeting.
On the online platform, residents are expected to make a great contribution to the development of district administration by directly proposing and discussing policies and freely presenting opinions during the policy establishment and execution process.
It is also expected to help discover neighbors in need of care in welfare blind spots by allowing stories of neighbors in difficulty who need help to be received.
The naming contest is open to anyone interested in Seo-gu, and participants can submit creative and symbolic names that well express the functions and characteristics of the online platform.
Each person can submit one name, and submissions are possible through the National Idea Box, email, mail, or in-person visits. For other inquiries, contact the Seo-gu Office Planning Office.
Among the submitted names, one grand prize winner and ten excellence award winners will be selected, and the results will be posted on the Seo-gu Office website and individually notified within this month.
