Professors Andonggyu and Imsangsu of Chosun University Appointed as Expert Members of the Autonomy and Decentralization Committee

View original image[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Chosun University announced on the 5th that Professor Andonggyu of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the College of Engineering and Professor Imsangsu of the Department of Economics at the College of Business Administration were recently appointed as financial decentralization expert members of the 2nd Presidential Committee on Local Autonomy.
The Presidential Committee on Local Autonomy, under the President, is an organization that comprehensively coordinates policies to realize local autonomy, a core task among the 100 national agendas of the Moon Jae-in administration, according to the "Special Act on Local Autonomy and Local Administrative System Reform."
The committee, composed of the Local Autonomy System Subcommittee, Financial and Functional Transfer Subcommittee, and Local Innovation Subcommittee, has expert committees and special committees that review, coordinate, investigate, and support research on delegated matters in advance.
Among these, the expert committees include the Resident Autonomy, Financial Decentralization, Central Authority Transfer, and Local Innovation expert committees.
Professor Andonggyu served as an advisory member of the Presidential National Balanced Development Committee until February. He was then appointed as a financial decentralization expert member of the 2nd Local Autonomy Committee.

Professor Imsangsu has renewed his term as a financial decentralization expert member this year following last year and will continue to work as a local finance expert.
