[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] Korean Air announced on the 4th that it will implement an integrated quarantine program called 'Care First' to restore customer trust in air travel safety amid the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic.
Accordingly, Korean Air has established a Care First program information page on its website to comprehensively guide various quarantine activities. On this page, customers can check the quarantine measures Korean Air is implementing at each stage of air travel, including in-flight disinfection, activation of contactless check-in, passenger temperature screening, social distancing between passengers, and enhanced hygiene of in-flight meals.
In addition, Korean Air will screen an introductory video of this program through in-flight Audio Video On Demand (AVOD) and social networking services (SNS). The 1 minute and 30 seconds video features an interview with Korean Air’s safety and security officer and covers overall activities for COVID-19 prevention.

After the distribution event ends, the kits will be provided upon request to passengers at check-in counters or boarding gates at all international airports.
