LaCode Releases Limited Edition Made from Nike Stock
[Asia Economy Reporter Yujin Cho] Kolon Industries FnC Division (hereinafter Kolon FnC) announced on the 3rd that its upcycling brand RAEKODE will launch 55 new products utilizing apparel and accessories from the sports brand Nike.
About 30 styles of clothing such as sweatshirts, cape jumpers, and dresses, as well as 25 types of accessories including bags, hats, and scarves, have been newly created, reflecting RAEKODE's design identity of "deconstruction and recombination." All products are special limited editions sold only this season, with prices ranging from 99,000 KRW to 490,000 KRW for clothing and from 19,000 KRW to 109,000 KRW for accessories.
Sales will be conducted sequentially through online and offline pop-up stores. Starting on the 14th at the online select shop W Concept, the products will also be available at the select store The Boon the Shop in Cheongdam. From the 21st, for 10 days, they will be showcased at the Itaewon Series corner, and from September 1st, the items will be available on Kolon Mall.
In addition to product launches, RAEKODE will hold upcycling workshops online and offline in collaboration with Nike. The online workshop will be held live via the communication platform Zoom at 7 PM on the 4th, with about 100 participants who pre-registered on Nike.com, including actor Ryu Jun-yeol.
Through this workshop, RAEKODE plans to share upcycling know-how on transforming seldom-worn sweatshirts into new items. Furthermore, on the 7th, an offline workshop will be held at the RAEKODE by Nike pop-up space for winners of an online event, providing consumers with various opportunities to directly experience sustainability.
