KOTRA Hosts 'Bio Health Worldwide Online 2020' Exhibition
500 Domestic and International Companies Producing K-Quarantine Products and 1,000 Buyers Participate
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Ji-hee] KOTRA announced on the 2nd that it will hold the 'Bio Health Worldwide Online 2020' exhibition for two weeks starting from October 19, in collaboration with the exhibition organizer 'Informa Markets'.
This exhibition will feature 500 domestic and international companies and 1,000 buyers from sectors producing K-quarantine products, including bio, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and healthcare services. KOTRA will support the overseas expansion of Korean companies by providing corporate exhibition halls, conference halls, video consultation halls, and investment attraction exhibition halls.
The corporate exhibition hall will be equipped with online booths featuring advanced technologies such as 3D video and virtual reality (VR), and a system will be established to enable video consultations between participating companies and buyers. In the conference hall, global experts in the biohealth industry will present on topics such as K-quarantine know-how and trends in vaccine and therapeutic development.
Kwon Pyung-oh, President of KOTRA, stated, "COVID-19 is a crisis, but the post-COVID era is an opportunity," adding, "We will strategically prepare an 'online exhibition' that integrates K-quarantine and digital technology."

Companies wishing to participate in the exhibition can apply through the Global Exhibition Portal by September 25. Companies applying by the 28th of this month will also receive a discount on the participation fee. Separate production support will be provided for companies wishing to create promotional videos such as 3D or animation.
