Youth Housing Near Gwanghui-dong 1-ga 166 Station Area to Be Established

Seoul City announced on the 2nd that on the 31st of last month, the Urban and Architectural Joint Committee's Transit-Oriented Youth Housing Authorization Subcommittee held a meeting and approved a revised urban management plan decision for the transit-oriented youth housing project (a total of 105 households) in the area around 166 Gwanghui-dong 1-ga.
As the transit-oriented youth housing project was approved with revisions by the Authorization Subcommittee, once the district unit plan is decided and announced, the youth housing project will be possible in the designated area.
Meanwhile, the urban management plan decision for the transit-oriented youth housing project in the area around 306-48 Junghwa-dong, Jungnang-gu, which was also submitted on the same day, was postponed.

Transit-oriented youth housing is rental housing targeted at young people aged 19 to 39. A Seoul city official stated, "Various youth-related community facilities are also planned together, which is expected to contribute to youth revitalization in this area. The relevant district office will proceed with the building permit procedures going forward."
