Uridamunhwa Scholarship Foundation Supports One-on-One College Admission Consulting for Multicultural Children
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyo-jin] Woori Financial Group's Woori Multicultural Scholarship Foundation announced on the 31st that it is recruiting participants for a career and college admission support program to assist multicultural children in entering university.
This program, newly launched this year by the Woori Multicultural Scholarship Foundation, provides customized information and one-on-one personal consulting for multicultural children preparing for college admission. The foundation plans to offer systematic and professional support in collaboration with an external admissions consulting firm, with all costs covered by the Woori Multicultural Scholarship Foundation.
For high school seniors, the program offers individual academic performance analysis and diagnosis to suggest college admission strategies, as well as consulting for writing personal statements in preparation for early admission applications. For prospective applicants in grades 10 and 11, academic diagnostic tests and student record management consulting will be provided, along with admissions briefings to offer a wide range of admissions information.
Applicants must be children from multicultural families currently enrolled in high school or multicultural youth outside of school preparing for college admission. Applications are accepted on the Woori Multicultural Scholarship Foundation website until the 14th of next month, and a total of 170 participants will be selected through screening.
A representative of the Woori Multicultural Scholarship Foundation stated, "We recognized the need for support after seeing cases where multicultural children faced difficulties in college admission due to unfamiliarity with the domestic university admissions culture or insufficient information tailored for them," adding, "We hope this customized admission information and consulting will help multicultural children with their university entrance."
