In the second quarter, the memory business saw relatively weak mobile demand amid the ongoing impact of COVID-19, but demand centered on data centers and PCs remained steady due to increased remote work and online education, resulting in improved performance compared to the previous quarter. The foundry business improved its performance due to increased inventory procurement by customers.
