DGB Financial Donates to Korea Student Aid Foundation
[Asia Economy Reporter Minyoung Kim] DGB Financial Group announced on the 29th that it has donated funds to the Korea Student Aid Foundation.
The Blue Lighthouse DGB Social Contribution Foundation Scholarship (With You Scholarship) is a fund established to support low-income university students enrolled in universities located in Daegu and Gyeongbuk. Among the eligible students, 20 scholarship recipients are selected by evaluating volunteer activity records, household income, and personal statements of students in financial aid brackets 3 or below, and each recipient receives 1.2 million KRW for living expenses.
The DGB Social Contribution Foundation donated scholarships to the Korea Student Aid Foundation again this year, following last year, to support low-income university students in Daegu and Gyeongbuk. This year’s donation is particularly meaningful as it aims to help Daegu and Gyeongbuk students facing difficulties in their studies due to COVID-19. The foundation plans to carry out various social contribution activities to ensure that the local talents receiving this support can contribute to the development of their communities in a virtuous cycle of sharing.
