On this day, he received a report from Oh Young-wook, Director of the Gangseo-gu Public Health Center, regarding the progress of the 'Gangseo Central Daycare Center' related to COVID-19 infections.
Mayor Noh Hyun-song stated, "Since the first confirmed COVID-19 case occurred at Gangseo Central Daycare Center on the 19th, the number of confirmed cases has increased to 28," and urged, "All staff must remain vigilant and actively respond to ensure residents do not feel anxious."
He also said, "As can be seen from the announcements by quarantine authorities, all cluster infection cases rapidly spread due to the incorrect judgment of confirmed patients," adding, "This cluster infection is no exception, which is very regrettable."
