SK C&C to Create 'Digital Untact Workplace' with Korea MS
Signing of MOU for Digital Untact Workplace Project
[Asia Economy Reporter Jin-gyu Lee] SK Inc. C&C announced on the 28th that it signed a digital non-face-to-face (untact) workplace business agreement (MOU) with Microsoft Korea (Korea MS) at its Bundang office in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province.
This agreement was promoted to implement a digital untact workplace model by combining SK C&C's hybrid multi-cloud expertise with Korea MS's collaboration platform. Through this agreement, the two companies plan to collaborate not only to improve the working methods of SK Group members but also to discover external clients seeking to introduce untact environments.
The two companies will form a joint task force to integrate Microsoft 365 (M365) into key systems operated by SK C&C in manufacturing, telecommunications, distribution, and finance, including ▲desktop virtualization ▲work portals ▲corporate information knowledge portals ▲groupware.
They will evaluate the progress of the M365-based digital workplace applied by SK C&C since 2017 and develop a customer-tailored digital work innovation process linked with the existing groupware platform. They plan to accumulate knowledge generated during M365-based work collaboration processes and make it usable for future tasks.
Jang Hong-guk, head of the OCP division at Korea MS, said, "Through the development of an M365-based digital untact workplace, we will continuously support the digital transformation of SK Group and corporate clients."
