[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Hyun-seok] Microclean, a mask subsidiary of Brain Contents, announced on the 27th that it will officially supply its self-developed ‘Supia Health Mask (KF80)’ and ‘Supia Droplet Blocking Mask (KF-AD)’ to the domestic market.
Microclean signed a supply contract with Nonghyup Hanaro Mart on the 22nd and supplied an initial quantity of 500,000 ‘Droplet Blocking Masks (KF-AD)’ in two shipments on the 23rd and 27th. Additionally, it signed a mask supply contract with comprehensive electronic parts company LG Innotek and supplied an initial quantity of 85,000 ‘Health Masks (KF80)’ on the 24th.
A company official stated, “After receiving approval for product registration from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, direct inquiries from large marts and major corporations enabled rapid contract completion,” adding, “We plan to launch full-scale sales not only through B2B distribution but also via online channels.”
Online sales through affiliated companies are also actively underway. Microclean has started supplying Droplet Blocking Masks (KF-AD) to Swanicoco and Medipron, which have established online distribution infrastructures. The natural cosmetics brand Swanicoco began sales through its own shopping mall, while Medipron is selling through open markets such as Gmarket and Auction. In fact, Swanicoco experienced a sell-out situation within less than an hour after starting sales on its own shopping mall.
