Tmon, Industry's First 'Rolling Recruitment'... "Only 2 Weeks Until Joining"
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] TMON announced on the 27th that it shortened the average recruitment process to two weeks by introducing the industry's first 'rolling open recruitment' system in its recent hiring of new MDs.
According to TMON, the rolling open recruitment system combines the strengths of continuous hiring, which allows for rapid talent acquisition, with large-scale open recruitment. While traditional open recruitment typically takes one to two months from application submission to interview and hiring, TMON reviews applications as soon as they are received and conducts interviews individually and quickly, significantly reducing the process duration.
The average period from application submission to joining the company was only two weeks. Many employees completed all stages within one week and began joining sequentially from the 22nd of last month. TMON explained that candidates were highly satisfied with this system because recruitment results were communicated promptly.
TMON also replaced offline recruitment briefings with online videos. Interviews were conducted individually rather than in groups to comply with quarantine guidelines.
New hires will undergo a three-month internship and, based on evaluations, will be assigned as regular new MDs in categories such as electronics, food, and fashion.
TMON also operates a talent pool system alongside rolling recruitment for experienced professionals. Through this, applicants can register their skills and areas of expertise regardless of recruitment periods or processes, and when demand arises in suitable departments, they will be contacted first and proceed with the recruitment process.
