[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Seong Jang-hyun, Mayor of Yongsan-gu, had a conversation on the 24th with Kim Chang-ryong, the newly appointed Commissioner of the National Police Agency, who visited the district's Crisis Family Integrated Support Center.
Commissioner Kim's visit to the Crisis Family Center was his first official activity since taking office.
The center, measuring 21㎡, accommodates up to nine staff members working together, including police officers (Anti-Abuse Police Officers, APO), integrated case managers, and counseling personnel.
When reports of domestic violence or abuse are received via 112, the center takes the lead in handling the case classification, initial counseling, on-site visits, case meetings, service linkage, monitoring, and follow-up management in a one-stop process.
