Ministry of Gender Equality and Family Signs Gender Balance Agreement with Four Local Small and Medium Enterprises
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunju Lee] The Ministry of Gender Equality and Family announced on the 22nd that it has signed a gender-balanced inclusive growth partnership agreement with four small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). On the 21st, the Ministry signed the related agreement with Erkos Agricultural Corporation, Unilez, Pureun Industry, and Protek Medical at the Government Seoul Office. This is the first autonomous agreement with SMEs located in provincial areas. The companies participating in this autonomous agreement were selected as meritorious institutions contributing to women's employment and entrepreneurship in collaboration with the 9th Women's New Work Center and received commendations from the Minister of Gender Equality and Family. The autonomous agreement includes provisions for preventing career interruptions for women, expanding female managers, supporting career re-entry, and promoting activities for a gender-equal organizational culture.
