[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Nosik] Recently, the Jeonbuk Imsil County Office Public Officials Labor Union (hereinafter referred to as Imgongno) has called for a thorough investigation regarding a female public official who alleged sexual harassment and made an extreme choice.
On the 21st, Imgongno held a press conference at the county office's Farmers' Education Center, urging the investigative authorities to conduct a strict investigation into the sexual harassment allegations related to the death of a female colleague.
Imgongno stated, "We apologize for not fully understanding the loneliness of the deceased, who devoted herself to the development of Imsil County," and strongly demanded, "To prevent recurrence of similar cases in the future, the sexual harassment allegations must be investigated clearly and thoroughly, leaving no room for shame."
They also expressed, "Distorting the death of a colleague and causing secondary harm to the deceased and their bereaved family must not occur," adding, "If secondary harm is inflicted, it is only right that it be thoroughly investigated and judged by law."
