GS Construction and Daewoo Construction Consortium to Launch 'Sanseong Station Jaipurgeo' Sales in August
[Asia Economy Reporter Donghyun Choi] The GS Construction and Daewoo Construction consortium announced on the 20th that they plan to sell units in ‘Sanseong Station Xi Purujio’ in the Sinheung 2 District housing redevelopment area at 1132 Sinheung-dong, Sujeong-gu, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi Province, in August. The complex will officially begin sales with the resident recruitment announcement on the 21st, and subscription applications will be accepted starting after August 11.
The complex is a mammoth-scale development of 4,774 units supplied in the redevelopment area of Seongnam’s original downtown, combining GS Construction’s ‘Xi’ and Daewoo Construction’s ‘Prugio’ brands, attracting significant attention even before sales begin. Sanseong Station Xi Purujio will be built with 31 buildings across 4 blocks, ranging from 51 to 84 square meters in exclusive area, from basement level 4 to 29 floors above ground, totaling 4,774 units. Among these, 1,718 units will be offered to the general public.
The Sinheung 2 District, where the complex is located, is an area in Seongnam’s original downtown undergoing active urban regeneration through reconstruction and redevelopment. The entire Seongnam original downtown area is transforming into a new apartment town alongside the ‘Seongnam New City’ urban maintenance project. Approximately 27 urban maintenance projects are planned across two districts, Sujeong-gu and Jungwon-gu, and once redevelopment is completed, the area will be transformed into a new apartment town with about 60,000 units. Although this area has excellent accessibility to Seoul within Seongnam city, it had been relatively undervalued due to aging housing. With large-scale new apartment supply, including Sanseong Station Xi Purujio, underway through urban maintenance projects, the future value of the area is highly regarded.
Sanseong Station Xi Purujio offers a pleasant residential environment with ‘park proximity’ and ‘forest proximity’ features. The Sinheung 2 District is considered one of the most comfortable residential areas in the region. Right in front of the complex is Hope Grand Park, approximately 120,000 square meters in size, equipped with walking trails and exercise facilities, along with Seongnam Dandae Park and other abundant green spaces, providing a comfortable living environment.
The convenient public transportation environment, befitting the complex’s name, is also notable. Located near Sanseong Station on Subway Line 8, residents can also access Dandae Ogeori Station and Sinheung Station, making travel to major business districts such as Gangnam, Jamsil, and Pangyo convenient. Hopedae Elementary School and Seongnam Seo Middle School are located close to the complex, with Seongnam Buk Elementary School and Seongnam Girls’ Middle School within walking distance. Additionally, the Gyeonggi Seongnam Education Library and Seongnam-si Sujeong Youth Center are nearby.
