According to Daegu City, 3 family members who arrived from Uzbekistan on the 14th underwent testing at the Buk-gu Public Health Center on the 16th during self-quarantine, and were finally confirmed positive on the 17th, leading to their hospitalization at Daegu Medical Center.
As of midnight on the 18th, the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Daegu increased by 3 from the previous day, totaling 6,932. The number of recovered patients is 6,823, with one discharged the previous day. The death toll reached 186 after a 58-year-old male (confirmed at Jae-mi Ju Hospital) passed away the previous day.
Currently, 17 confirmed patients are undergoing isolation treatment. Among them, 15 are hospitalized in three hospitals nationwide, one is in a residential treatment center, and one is waiting at home.
