The Outstanding Company for Employee Invention Compensation certification is a system that selects small and medium-sized enterprises and mid-sized companies that have exemplary support and compensation for inventions developed by their employees. Its purpose is to encourage creative technology development and strengthen corporate competitiveness through fair compensation.
DiosTech is a company specializing in the production of lenses applied to smartphone cameras. On the 19th of last month, it announced that it would issue 30 billion KRW worth of anonymous, non-guaranteed, detachable convertible bonds with warrants (BW) to strengthen competitiveness in the lens business.
Companies certified as outstanding receive cost reduction benefits such as a 20-50% discount on patent registration fees. Additionally, when participating in government support projects from the Korean Intellectual Property Office, the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, and the Ministry of Science and ICT, they are granted priority examination qualifications for patents, utility models, and designs.
To enhance technological competitiveness, DiosTech operates an optical design team and an intellectual property team composed of industry experts, including PhD-level personnel. The company aims to leap forward as a global lens specialist through continuous technology patents.
