Anyone can access SK Telecom’s 5GX VR app ‘Jump VR’ anytime and anywhere to watch free VR videos of Deoksugung with 360-degree views while listening to explanations from a Deoksugung Office official. On the 13th, two videos of Seokjojeon were released, and on the 17th, two additional videos related to Daehanmun, Junghwajeon, Hamnyeongjeon, Jeukjodang, and Seogeodang will be added. Regardless of the mobile carrier subscribed to, anyone can enjoy the interior of Seokjojeon, Junghwajeon, and Hamnyeongjeon?places imbued with the history of the Korean Empire?through 360-degree VR videos on the Jump VR app. The 360-degree VR videos can be viewed either with VR devices or simply on a smartphone without VR equipment. When viewers wear VR devices and turn their heads or hold their smartphones and change direction, they can freely look around as they wish, making it very useful for cultural heritage viewing.
