He continued, "Whether it is related to sexual issues or recent real estate problems, we must keep in mind that the public's standards for personal conduct have significantly risen," adding, "We need to observe the facts a little longer."
On the same broadcast, Cho Hae-jin, a member of the United Future Party, said, "Citizens were very disappointed when current metropolitan local government heads resigned midway due to such incidents, like former Chungnam Governor Ahn Hee-jung and former Busan Mayor Oh Keo-don," and added, "Although more details need to be revealed, those two also lived their entire lives as public officials and leaders, serving as metropolitan local government heads, so it was hard to understand why such issues were not managed."
He further said, "There are still parts that are hard to understand," and emphasized, "If these facts are confirmed, there should be an overall diagnosis and reflection, and measures must be taken to prevent further disappointment to the public."
