View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Hyung-gil] Hyundai Marine & Fire Insurance announced on the 9th that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Seoul Fintech Lab to support startups in the fintech sector and explore cooperation plans.
The two parties plan to jointly discover and nurture startups in the fintech field and review business cooperation. Through regular information sharing, they will provide related consulting and support linkage to nurturing programs for startups under collaboration and development.
Jung Kyu-wan, Head of Digital Strategy Division at Hyundai Marine & Fire Insurance, said, "Cooperation with fintech startups is an essential element to proactively respond to the rapidly changing financial environment," adding, "We will create practical business cooperation cases through collaboration with Seoul Fintech Lab, which has the largest infrastructure and insights in Korea."
