Seongbuk-gu Appoints Youth and University Student Reporters to Highlight Vibrant Educational Sites

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Jong-il Park] Seongbuk-gu (Mayor Lee Seung-ro) appointed 16 youths as the ‘2020 Seongbuk Seoul-type Innovative Education District Youth and University Student Reporters.’
The ‘Youth and University Student Reporters’ is a project promoted by the district in accordance with the principles of the ‘Seongbuk Seoul-type Innovative Education District,’ which supports youth-led participation in educational activities and growth.
The district conducted an open recruitment targeting youths in Seongbuk-gu for a total of 21 days from May 25 to June 14.
The recruitment fields were divided into article writing, SNS operation, and video production. Through document screening, a reporter group of 16 was formed, consisting of 6 middle school students, 5 high school students, and 5 university students.
The reporters, working in two teams, will deliver various news about the Seongbuk Seoul-type Innovative Education District from the perspective of youths until the end of this year.
In addition, they will also perform roles such as discovering promotional content, on-site coverage, and producing articles and content.
