An Eoullim Sports Center to Be Built on the Site of Sangye 2 Housing Development District Public Parking Lot
[Asia Economy Reporter Donghyun Choi] A sports facility will be built on the site of Suraksan Public Parking Lot in Sanggye 2 Housing Development District, Sanggye-dong, Nowon-gu, Seoul.
The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced on the 9th that it held the 9th Urban and Architectural Joint Committee and approved the original plan for the district unit plan change of the Seoul Sanggye 2 Housing Development Project Area.
Through this decision, the city plans to construct the Seoul Eoullim Sports Center on the parking lot site. The main changes in this district unit plan include overlapping decisions on necessary urban planning facilities (parking lot and sports facilities), and determinations on building coverage ratio, floor area ratio, and height range.
The Seoul Eoullim Sports Center will be a complex sports facility spanning from two basement floors to three above-ground floors, featuring a bowling alley (32 lanes) and a swimming pool (10 lanes), designed for use by both disabled and non-disabled individuals.
