Gwangju Bank Donates Additional 200 Million KRW in Emergency Relief Funds and Talent Development Fund to Jeonnam Province
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Gwangju Bank (President Song Jong-wook) announced on the 8th that it delivered a total of 200 million KRW, including 100 million KRW in emergency relief funds for COVID-19 and 100 million KRW in talent development scholarship funds, at Jeonnam Provincial Office with Jeonnam Governor Kim Young-rok, Gwangju Bank President Song Jong-wook, and Park Heung-seok, Chairman of the Korean Red Cross Gwangju-Jeonnam Chapter, in attendance.
Of the donation, 100 million KRW will be distributed through Jeonnam Provincial Office and the Korean Red Cross Gwangju-Jeonnam Chapter to vulnerable groups in the region who need urgent living expenses support due to the impact of COVID-19, medical staff working to protect the health of local residents, and children in the region requiring emergency care support.
The remaining 100 million KRW will be used through Jeonnam Provincial Office and the Jeonnam Talent Lifelong Education Promotion Foundation to support students whose learning environments have become difficult due to the resurgence of COVID-19.
