COVID-19 Case Confirmed at Doosan New Office Construction Site in Bundang
[Asia Economy Reporter Ki-min Lee] A confirmed case of COVID-19 has occurred at the construction site of Doosan's new headquarters in Seongnam City, Gyeonggi Province.
According to Seongnam City and Doosan on the 8th, a man in his 40s working as a hoist operator at the Doosan new headquarters construction site in Bundang-gu, Seongnam, tested positive for COVID-19.
The confirmed patient showed symptoms on the 3rd and was tested at the Bundang-gu Public Health Center screening clinic on the 6th.
Health authorities are investigating the infection route, detailed movements, and contacts of this patient. Ten people who had close contact with the confirmed patient have been placed under self-quarantine, and 1,208 people have been classified as active monitoring targets. Accordingly, all 1,218 workers at the site have undergone mass testing.
