"If You're Pro-Jinno and Pro-Moon, Would You Send Flowers Even If They Entered Nth Room?" Jin Joong-kwon Criticizes Moon for Sending Flowers to Ahn Hee-jung Repeatedly

View original image[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Yeon-ju] Former Dongyang University professor Jin Joong-kwon strongly criticized President Moon Jae-in and ruling party figures for sending floral wreaths to the condolence hall for the late mother of former Chungnam Governor Ahn Hee-jung on the 7th, saying, "If you are pro-Roh or pro-Moon, would you send wreaths even if they were in the Nth Room?"
On the same day, Jin posted on his Facebook, "I'm not saying you shouldn't observe 'human decency.' You should, but express that decency in a 'private' manner," he said.
He pointed out, "Is it really that difficult? Would you send wreaths even if someone distributed child pornography like some? Or would you send wreaths to a murderer like a former local council chairman of the Democratic Party?"
He added, "Moreover, Ahn Hee-jung's sexual harassment was committed using the governor's 'public power,'" and argued, "As a 'public figure,' he has already been socially judged. As a 'private individual,' the duty toward Ahn Hee-jung should be observed privately."
Jin questioned, "Is it really such a harsh demand to ask public officials to distinguish between public and private matters? If you want to send wreaths, send them at your own expense, and don't use taxpayers' money," he asked rhetorically.
He continued, "If the same thing had been done by the United Future Party, would you have responded so coolly then?"
In another post, Jin also criticized ruling party figures who offered condolences or sent wreaths to the late mother of former Governor Ahn while displaying their official positions.
He said, "It is like the political world officially expressing 'stay strong' to a sex offender, showing a firm male solidarity," and sharply criticized, "A self-proclaimed 'feminist president' sending wreaths with titles to a rapist in this country."
He also emphasized, "The president should take care of the people, not his own family," and said, "The person the president should comfort is not Ahn Hee-jung, but Kim Ji-eun, who was sexually harassed by him."
