[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] On the 6th, the United Future Party held the first meeting of the Incheon International Airport Corporation (In-guk-gong) Fair Recruitment TF and began full-scale preparations for countermeasures.
Floor leader Joo Ho-young pointed out at the In-guk-gong Fair Recruitment TF appointment ceremony and first meeting held at the National Assembly that day, “While the regularization of non-regular workers is a good thing for the workers and their families in terms of job stability, if the process is unfair and irrational, it inevitably causes another major problem.” He added, “Please make sure that hardworking young people do not get frustrated or give up in the face of unfairness, and that this is reflected in legislation or policies, and see it through to the end.”
Policy Committee Chairman Lee Jong-bae emphasized, “The Moon Jae-in administration’s populist amateur policies are taking away the hopes of the people,” and said, “Employment, which determines a person’s entire life, should never be like a lottery for even one position. We must first correct the fairness of recruitment.”
TF Chairman Ha Tae-kyung said, “Airlines and airports are going bankrupt due to COVID-19,” and criticized, “A rational management team should practice austerity management during this period, not expansion management. This is a reckless decision forced by the Blue House.”
Ha said, “They plan to expand regular positions by borrowing money and using taxpayers’ money,” and added, “The In-guk-gong (regularization) is an unfair recruitment by President Moon Jae-in, by the president, and for the president. The president must immediately suspend this issue.”
TF member Im Eui-ja said, “The ruling party is distorting the situation as if the United Future Party opposes the regularization of non-regular workers,” and stated, “We are demanding that the promise made by President Moon that opportunities will be equal, processes fair, and results just be upheld.”

Im said, “Currently, opportunities for our people and youth are collapsing due to Cho Kuk’s father’s influence, fairness in the process is collapsing due to In-guk-gong’s unfairness, and justice in the results is collapsing due to Yoon Mi-hyang’s grandmother’s influence. This must be corrected,” and added, “The Democratic Party of Korea should not just act as the Blue House’s servant but should look at these issues properly and think about them together.”
