Gyeongbuk Provincial Office of Education, Remote Class Development Plan 'Web Seminar' ... Live Broadcast
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongwook Park] The Gyeongsangbuk-do Office of Education announced on the 4th that it will hold a 'Gyeongbuk-type Class Status Analysis and Development Plan Webinar' on the 6th to explore remote class methods through videos on the website in the 'post-Corona' era.
A 'webinar' is a compound word of Web and seminar, referring to a real-time or recorded interactive multimedia presentation conducted on a website. The event will be broadcast live through the Office of Education's official YouTube channel Makkeulmeokkeul TV and Facebook.
The webinar will be hosted by Yang Manju, a teacher at Bonghwa Dongyang Elementary School, and will feature expert panelists related to remote classes, including Superintendent Lim Jong-sik, Kim Jin-sook, Head of the Education Service Division at the Korea Education and Research Information Service, Vice Principal Jeong Gi-hyo of Gumi Deokchon Elementary School, and Teacher Lee Hee-myeong of Chilgok Buksam Elementary School.
The Gyeongbuk Office of Education conducted a survey in June to hear the voices of schools and members regarding remote classes. The survey attracted high interest with 19,752 participants and was conducted through school visits and group in-depth interviews.
Through this webinar, the Gyeongbuk Office of Education plans to present Gyeongbuk-type remote class methods that can respond stably even in emergencies by providing new teaching and learning methods online and offline, learning experiences beyond time and space limitations, and personalized remote learning.
