According to the financial investment industry on the 3rd, Korea Investment & Securities held a Consumer Protection Committee meeting on the same day and decided to prepay 70% of the invested principal to investors in Optimus Asset Management funds. A company official stated, "Detailed information will be disclosed later."
Optimus Asset Management is suspected of raising thousands of billions of won from investors by claiming to invest in public institution sales bonds, but in reality, forging documents and investing in loan companies and insolvent firms.
