[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Suwan] The emergency room at Samyook Seoul Hospital was temporarily closed after a patient who visited the emergency room with an arm fracture tested positive for asymptomatic COVID-19, the Dongdaemun District Office in Seoul announced on the 2nd.
According to Dongdaemun District, an woman in her 80s living in Jangan 2-dong (Dongdaemun case number 39) visited the emergency room at Samyook Seoul Hospital on June 30 due to an arm fracture, underwent a screening test, and was confirmed positive late at night on July 1. Consequently, the patient was transferred to Seoul National University Hospital.
Prior to this, the patient was found by a passerby around 10 p.m. on June 30 after falling on the stairs and was taken to the emergency room at Samyook Seoul Hospital.
