On the 1st, Jin wrote on his Facebook, "Can Moon Jae-in really make a decision? 'Decision' is a word favored by Carl Schmitt," expressing his opinion.
He said, "This person has lost his mind," adding, "He is already directing investigations, so there is no need for any decision. What is needed is not the decision of a mere minister, but the decision of the sovereign."
He continued, "There is no reason to delay any longer," and added, "Now President Moon Jae-in should make a decision. How long will you avoid taking responsibility for your decisions?"
Earlier that day, Minister Choo appeared at an emergency hearing of the National Assembly's Legislation and Judiciary Committee and responded to a question from Choi Ki-sang of the Democratic Party of Korea, who asked, "Please share your thoughts on the allegations of collusion between the prosecution and the media," by saying, "I have been watching so far, but if it becomes difficult to watch any longer, I will make a decision when it is time to decide."

Minister Choo said, "More than ever, if we do not resolve public suspicion through a fair and thorough investigation, the trust in the prosecution and the organization will be at risk of being lost all at once," adding, "Prosecutor General Yoon, as the head, has expressed concerns by saying 'I will step down,' issuing a public document stating 'The chief meeting will decide and follow the chief meeting's command,' but since then, he has repeatedly made opposing decisions. This is quite worrisome."
