Andong City Kicks Off Andong Ungbu Cup Jokgu Tournament... 22 Teams in Full League
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Dong-wook] The '24th Andong Woongbu Cup Jokgu Tournament,' which was postponed due to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), opened on the 2nd at Yongsang Sports Park and will continue until October 8.
Hosted by the Andong City Sports Council and organized by the Andong City Jokgu Association, this tournament features about 450 participants from 22 local teams. Starting with the club division matches on the 2nd, the tournament will proceed in a full league format across three divisions: general, senior, and club.
Considering COVID-19, the opening ceremony will not be held. According to Andong City, strict quarantine measures will be implemented, including appointing quarantine managers for each match, conducting temperature checks, and maintaining visitor logs.
