This inspection was carried out in response to confirmed COVID-19 cases among middle school students in Mokpo, focusing on checking the hygiene status of multi-use facilities frequently visited by students and requesting their cooperation.
An official operating an arcade stated, “Since the outbreak of COVID-19, we have been recording the personal information of everyone entering the facility even during everyday social distancing, and disinfecting several times a day,” adding, “We will actively cooperate with quarantine measures and student life guidance.”
Education Superintendent Kim Jae-jeom expressed, “I deeply appreciate the active cooperation of multi-use facilities and nearby businesses in quarantine and life guidance amid the emergency situation,” and urged, “Let us all do our best together, both public and private sectors, to prevent the spread of COVID-19.”
