[Asia Economy Reporter Cho Hyun-ui] A Syrian civil war monitoring group claimed that more than 10 pro-Iranian fighters were killed in an airstrike in eastern Syria.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, a Syrian civil war monitoring group headquartered in London, UK, said on the 29th (local time) that 9 people were killed in an airstrike the previous day in the Albu Kamal area of Deir ez-Zor province in eastern Syria. It added that at least 6 people were killed in an airstrike in the same area on the night of the 27th.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights stated, "This airstrike targeted a military facility on the outskirts of Albu Kamal, and the deceased were pro-Iranian fighters," adding, "It is presumed that Israel carried out the airstrike."
Major foreign media reported that Israel has not made any statement regarding this.
