Two USFK Soldiers and One Family Member Arriving from the US Test Positive for COVID-19
[Asia Economy Yang Nak-gyu Reporter]The United States Forces Korea (USFK) headquarters announced on the 29th that two soldiers and one soldier's family member who arrived in Korea on a government chartered flight from the United States tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
One soldier and one family member who arrived at Osan Air Base on the 15th of this month tested negative in the first COVID-19 test conducted in the quarantine area of Camp Humphreys (U.S. military base in Pyeongtaek).
They tested positive in the second test required for release from quarantine and were confirmed positive. Another soldier who arrived at Osan Air Base on the 25th of this month was transferred to the quarantine area of Camp Humphreys and tested positive for COVID-19.

The three additional confirmed cases are currently receiving treatment in the confirmed case quarantine area at Camp Humphreys. The cumulative number of confirmed cases in USFK is 39, and it is known that four soldiers are currently receiving treatment among the confirmed cases.
