Bodyfriend Holds In-House Fashion Show to Foster Creative Corporate Culture
A New Beginning: Presenting the '2020 S/S Collection' with the 'GATE' Theme
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Bodyfriend has embarked on creating a creative corporate culture by sharing its vision with employees through a unique in-house event. Bodyfriend (CEO Park Sang-hyun) announced on the 26th that it held the '2020 S/S Collection BF Fashion Show,' featuring employees themselves as models, at its headquarters in Dogok Tower.
The fashion show was planned under the theme 'GATE,' symbolizing a connection to a new world and a new beginning, aiming to showcase various styles from uniforms to office looks and daily wear. It consisted of five concepts: Basic, Casual, Fantasy, Collaboration, Cyber & Signature, revealing over 50 distinctive pieces designed by three designers from the fashion team.
In addition to professional models, 24 executives and employees participated as fashion show models, performing short walks on mini runways temporarily set up in the first-floor cafeteria and offices on each floor. Designer Seol Young-hee supervised the entire production process as an advisor, and the pieces showcased in the fashion show are sold to employees at affordable prices. All proceeds from sales will be donated.

Meanwhile, Bodyfriend has established a costume design studio on the basement first floor of the company and employs professional fashion designers to directly design uniforms for employees to wear. A Bodyfriend official said, "The BF Fashion Show, now in its third year, is a special annual in-house event created to inspire and infuse emotion into employees, encouraging them to take on new challenges and embrace diverse perspectives," adding, "The creatively composed stage has received great responses from employees."
