According to Wonkwang University, the contest titled "My Own Learning Know-how: How I Managed University Life During the COVID-19 Pandemic" aimed to discover excellent learning experiences of students and to disseminate effective learning methods and strategies. Additionally, it sought to systematize and sustain effective learning methods by sharing personal learning know-how with others.
The learning contest provided an opportunity to share diverse information on how students, unable to attend school due to non-face-to-face classes caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, maintained their studies using their own know-how.
In particular, this contest focused on university life during the COVID-19 pandemic and included various topics such as methods to improve major grades, personal learning methods, study methods for certifications obtained, foreign language learning methods, unique learning experiences or methods, participation in programs, and interpersonal relationships.
The contest winners were selected through judging by professors in related fields on campus just before the first semester final exams: one grand prize winner, two excellence award winners, and three encouragement award winners. Certificates and prizes will be presented after the final exams.
