Lotte Hi-Mart has been continuously conducting social contribution activities for marginalized community members. In March and April, hygiene kits consisting of masks and hand sanitizers were produced and prioritized for delivery to regions requiring urgent support such as Daegu and Gyeongbuk, where vulnerable groups were struggling due to COVID-19. They also supported disinfection work at 100 community institutions, including orphanages where many children live together and local children’s centers about to open. Additionally, in April, with the start of online classes, they donated 100 learning laptops to low-income children nationwide who had not yet acquired remote learning devices or were using outdated equipment.
