Grandmother Lee Yong-soo to Hold Joint Press Conference with Justice Network Next Month
[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] Grandmother Lee Yong-soo, a victim of the Japanese military sexual slavery, has decided to hold a joint press conference with the Justice and Memory Foundation (Jeonguiyeondae) next month to establish a comfort women history education center.
In a phone call with a media outlet on the 26th, Grandmother Lee said, "I met with Lee Nayoung, the director of Jeonguiyeondae, and we discussed moving forward properly through dialogue," adding, "In July, we will announce a concrete position together with Jeonguiyeondae in Daegu."
The meeting between Grandmother Lee and Director Lee is reported to have taken place around 3 p.m. that day at a cafe in Nam-gu, Daegu.
