KT, Seezn Release Unreleased Footage of 'I-LAND' and 'We Play 2'
[Asia Economy Reporter Koo Chae-eun] KT announced on the 26th that it has prepared a rich lineup of content for July through its mobile video service Seezn.
Starting from Friday the 26th, Seezn will exclusively release unseen behind-the-scenes footage of Mnet’s ‘I-LAND’. ‘I-LAND’ is an observational reality program co-produced by CJ-ENM and BigHit Entertainment, capturing the growth process of 23 contestants collaborating and competing for a spot as the next generation K-POP artists.
Produced by BTS’s producer Bang Si-hyuk, singer Rain, and Zico, the main broadcast will begin on Mnet and tvN channels from 11 PM on Friday the 26th. Immediately after each episode airs, Seezn will exclusively release behind-the-scenes footage not shown in the main broadcast.
Additionally, the stages featured in ‘I-LAND’ can be experienced on Seezn as well as on SuperVR. The impressive performances by the contestants in each episode are produced as 180-degree VR content and provided free of charge to SuperVR users. VR interview videos revealing the contestants’ sincere and unique charms behind the scenes are also offered.
Also, the second season of the variety show ‘We Play’, which captivated viewers with its large-scale, spectacular games, will have its unseen footage exclusively released on Seezn immediately after the first broadcast on July 4th. The main broadcast and replay VOD are available for free only on Seezn among domestic OTT platforms. ‘We Play 2’ features returning members Kang Ho-dong, Lee Soo-geun, Haha, Jung Hyuk, Ha Sung-woon, and new member JR from NU’EST. From the 4th, special content such as behind-the-scenes videos highlighting the unique chemistry between Ha Sung-woon and NU’EST’s JR will be exclusively released every Saturday at 9 PM on Seezn.
Seezn has also prepared abundant content for users choosing a homecation instead of traveling during the summer vacation season. On ‘Seezn Day’, held every second and fourth Thursday of the month, 2,000 users on a first-come, first-served basis receive passes to binge-watch all episodes of popular dramas or variety shows. The ‘First Half BEST’ special section showcases the top 50 contents loved by viewers in the first half of the year, categorized by genre. It also recommends related content based on popular keywords such as ‘Bucchae’ (alter ego), ‘Corona’, ‘Remake’, ‘Trot’, and notable figures like ‘Bong Joon-ho’, ‘Yoo Jae-suk’, and ‘Kim Hee-ae’.
